I’m so glad you’re here.
I’m Annie, a certified, registered yoga therapist & founder of The Rest Club.
I specialise in gentle, restorative yogic practises for calm and wellbeing, I have taught over 1,000 classes in Australia, Europe and online.
My passion lies in providing a safe and supportive space for you to find wellbeing holistically; giving you the fortitude to nourish yourself in sustainable and meaningful ways outside of our sessions.
I work with people from all walks of life who want to create new habits and cultivate a greater sense of wellbeing, supporting those suffering from injury, work-related stress, chronic illness, sleeplessness, burnout, trauma and more. My Journey to The Rest Club
I created the Rest Club from my own journey to total burnout.
Working in a corporate setting, I found myself constantly fighting exhaustion and overwhelm. Never resting unless I was sick, I found myself becoming progressively less enthused by life and lacking energy. My relationships were suffering, I was experiencing a constant, frustrated malaise and I eventually burnt out, spending 3 months largely bed-ridden.
I had no choice but to learn a gentler way to live and care for myself.
My experiences led me down a more restorative and gentle yogic path & my training in Yoga Therapy. Using many of the tools I now share in my classes, I was able to reignite my own spark and find my wellbeing and balance.
I began working with burnt out professionals, mums, and people struggling with trauma and chronic illness and was thrilled to witness them transforming their own lives.
The Rest Club was born.
The Power of Rest to Restore
Rest is a necessity for vibrance, wellbeing and sustained success.
A lack of rest and restorative practises keeps us chronically tired and burnt out. When you are wanting to do more, be more and succeed more, taking time to replenish your energy is vital.
To illustrate the value of rest, imagine this:
Think of yourself like a tall glass. When you are well-rested and energised, that glass is full: there’s plenty to pour into the things you love and people that are important to you. But if you fail to refill it, the glass becomes progressively more and more empty… until there’s nothing left.
Proper rest helps you to refill your gorgeous glass.
The problem is: generally speaking, we’re not really taught what rest is (hint: it’s not sleep!), how best to access it and why.

How we work together
I utilise ancient yoga-based practises, modern evidence-based research and somatic tools to support you. Together, we can identify the sources of your suffering, help reignite your spark, restore your energy & find your balance.
I offer a range of in-person therapeutic and restorative private sessions, bespoke group and corporate sessions, as well as quarterly workshops. I also offer online rest consultations and online membership to The Rest Club. All of my offerings are accessible and are pregnancy safe.
